PRO BONO NAME CHANGE & GENDER MARKER CLINIC

Oakland - Pro Bono opportunity!   BALIF is teaming up with the Oakland LGBTQ Center, MBC Pride, Identity Affirmation Workshop, BALIF, and USF Pride Law to help clients complete legal name and gender marker change paperwork at this Name and Gender Marker Change Clinic.

When: Saturday, February 15th | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Where: Oakland LGBTQ Center - 3207 Lakeshore (use Rand Ave entrance)

What’s Included: Zoom training for any volunteers (no legal experience or background needed!) also will be recorded if you can't attend live; and on-site support from the Identity Affirmation Workshop.

Day Of: Step-by-step guidance from volunteers to update the client's name and gender markers on government documents. Additional legal support MAY be available, depending on attorneys in attendance (indicate your practice areas, if applicable, in the google form).
