BALIF invites you to purchase a ticket or, even better, sponsor our upcoming Halloween fundraiser. BALIF is throwing a Halloween fundraising extravaganza for the TGI Justice Project on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 7 pm to 9 pm on Zoom.
This year’s ticket gets you access to our Halloween drag show spectacular! Featuring the amazing drag stylings of Roxy Cotton Candy, Nicki Jizz, and our incomparable emcee, Militia Scunt Towers! We’ll also be hosting a costume contest, and hearing from this year’s honoree, TGI Justice Project’s Executive Director, Janetta Johnson. You won’t want to miss this event!
This year’s honoree is doing great work for the queer community. The TGI Justice Project has a mission is to challenge and end the human rights abuses committed against TGI people in California prisons, jails, detention centers and beyond. The TGI Justice Project works in collaboration with others to forge a culture of resistance and resilience to strengthen us for the fight against human rights abuses, imprisonment, police violence, racism, poverty, and societal pressures. Description: If you have the capacity, please consider donating the cost of an additional ticket. Your contribution will allow the BALIF community to enjoy this event, while ensuring we can raise life-saving funds for the TGI Justice Project.
Admission (Law Student or Unemployed): $10
Description: If you are a law student or not currently employed, we invite you to pay a minimum of $10, but no BALIF member will be turned away for lack of funds. If you cannot afford to pay for a ticket, you can get the BALIF member discount code here.
