PART 1: Cultural competency in the representation of transgender, gender-variant, and intersex (TGI) individuals

Learn to provide compassionate and effective legal representation for TGI individuals. Participants will get a deep-dive into relevant terminology, cultural nuances, and best practices. 

PART 2: Representing TGI people in California prisons
➵ 12/11 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Learn the ins and outs of representing incarcerated individuals, including: sending mail to incarcerated correspondents, navigating department of corrections forms and policies, and conducting prison visits.
