We should all be outraged by what is unfolding in Minneapolis, which follows over a year of unprecedented immigration enforcement activity that has seen far too many people targeted, brutalized, and disappeared. Renee Good and Alex Pretti should be alive today. Federal agents have no place terrorizing people in our streets — in Minneapolis or anywhere else in America. BALIF strongly condemns the violence being inflicted on our communities, especially immigrants and those standing up to defend their humanity and the rule of law. This conduct must be fully and impartially investigated, and those responsible must be held accountable. We stand in solidarity with everyone resisting the erosion of our democracy and our civil liberties. Enough is enough.
