The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County is seeking an Immigrants’ Rights Attorney to join our LIBRE team. This position focuses on helping survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and other crimes apply for humanitarian relief with USCIS and before EOIR, including SIJS, U visas, DACA, and VAWA. The role involves preparing and filing applications, representing clients before immigration courts and agencies, and guiding individuals and families through complex legal processes. The position also supports community-centered work through know-your-rights presentations, outreach, and collaboration with community-based organizations and public agencies, while contributing to broader advocacy efforts that advance immigrant rights and expand access to justice for low-income communities.
