Wayne Watts Receives Allies for Justice Award

Wayne Watts, AT&T’s Senior Executive VP & General Counsel, has been selected by the National LGBT Bar Association to receive its Allies For Justice Award. This award honors legal professionals who, in their position of leadership, have allied with the LGBT community and have made noteworthy contributions to the struggle for civil rights and equality before the law.

The reception at which Mr. Watts will be given this award is on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco . The reception is free, no RSVP is required, and is open to all – LGBT and their straight allies.

Please come to the reception if you are able and, if you have the time, please spread the word and let other attorneys know that they are welcome too. The event is part of the ABA ’s Annual Meeting, so all are welcome.
