Julia Adams

Julia joined the BALIF Board in 2009 and serves as the Chair of the Amicus Committee. She earned her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law along with a Specialization Certificate with Distinction in Public Interest Law. Julia began her legal career advocating for persons with disabilities to ensure that they have equal access to places of public accommodation throughout California . Now, she continues her public interest and community advocacy work at The Epstein Group, where she focuses on employment discrimination and harassment, wage and hour issues, landlord and tenant matters, and real estate. She is licensed to practice law throughout the State of California , the Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of the United States District Court of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Julia is married to Rebecca Prozan – whom she met while attending law school. Julia and Rebecca live in The Castro with their dog and cat.
