Dan Dean
Dan Dean, a fourth-generation San Franciscan, earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California at Santa Barbara in1988. He graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law and joined the California State Bar in 1992.
Dan is a litigator and trial attorney whose practice at Fotouhi Epps Hillger Gillroy PC focuses on complex personal injury and public entity liability. He has represented individuals, companies, and governmental entities in all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases. In addition, he has defended class action lawsuits, represented companies and individuals in general business matters and business litigation, and handled numerous construction and employment cases. He has handled pro bono cases in the areas of personal injury, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy, and probate.
Dan is very involved in the San Francisco legal community. He is on the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of San Francisco, a member of the Board of Governors at the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a director of the Community Advisory Board at UCSF’s AIDS Health Project. He is a past co-chair of the Minority Bar Coalition (2006-2008.)
